They must recognize the power of words and act properly. Correspondents should double-check the data they collect while doing so.  This includes identifying information such as names and positions, but also includes factual statements and accounts. Reporters conduct their own fact checking using their own judgment guided by the ethics policy. Tigercric will utilize actuality checkers in specific conditions it considers justified.
